Dr Sana Qadri has been working as a GP in the Northern Territory since 2020. She has a special interest in dermatology and skin medicine, as well as women’s health including IUD-related consultations. Dr Qadri provides comprehensive management of chronic medical and skin conditions, and is competent in managing iron deficiency, antenatal shared care, and family planning. She has been involved in GP training for registrars as a Medical Educator since 2023.

Kylie
Nurse Practitioner — Founder
Qualifications: Bachelor of Nursing Science, Master of Mental Health Nursing, Master of Public Health, Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner)
Kylie is a Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of experience delivering healthcare services in remote communities. When her local community’s only medical clinic closed its doors, residents were forced to travel more than 50km to the nearest clinic. Kylie opened the general practice, ensuring that local residents could access the care they needed. She is dedicated to primary healthcare and passionate about ensuring remote communities can access the same quality of care as city residents. Kylie has been recognised as one of APNA’s 2024 Nurse of the Year and a finalist for the NT Nurse of the Year.

Heidi
Nurse Practitioner

Heidi is an experienced Nurse specialising in child and family health, with a strong background in rural and remote healthcare. She has lived and worked within the local community for over a decade, serving at the local medical centre for 8 years. Her practice spans comprehensive child health services including routine childhood vaccinations, developmental assessments, and well-child health checks. She also has extensive experience in women’s health, providing preventative screening, contraception advice, and holistic health support. Heidi is committed to delivering accessible, compassionate, and high-quality care that supports children, women, and families in the community.

Verena
Nurse Practitioner — Mental Health
Verena is a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 33 years of nursing experience and 26 years living and working in the Northern Territory. She has extensive experience providing specialist mental health care to remote Aboriginal communities across the Top End. Verena’s clinical focus is on mental health and substance use disorders, and she is currently pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Addiction Studies to further enhance her expertise. She follows a nursing model of care, providing holistic, patient-centred mental health support with the ability to prescribe medications, order tests, and manage episodes of care independently.

Jaclyn
Nurse Practitioner
Qualifications: Graduate Certificate in Primary Healthcare; Graduate Certificate in Nursing (Emergency Room/Trauma), Bachelor of Nursing, Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner)
Jaclyn Tate-Baker is a Nurse Practitioner providing face-to-face and telehealth services at Remote Territory Health Care. She understands that accessing healthcare can be challenging for people living in rural and remote communities and aims to provide practical, supportive care that helps patients receive quality healthcare without unnecessary travel.
Jaclyn has extensive experience supporting patients with complex and chronic health needs and has a strong interest in providing care that is safe, clinically appropriate and accessible.
Jaclyn’s telehealth appointments are patient-focused and include a thorough review of your health history, current symptoms, existing treatments, medication needs and ongoing care goals. She takes the time to understand each patient’s situation and works with them to consider safe, evidence-based options that suit their individual circumstances.
Nic Jarrett
Practice Manager — Co-Founder
Qualifications: Bachelor of Business; 14 years’ service, Royal Australian Air Force
Nic is the Practice Manager and Co-Founder of Remote Territory Health Care. After the closure of the local medical centre left residents without nearby access to primary care, Nic worked alongside the clinical team to build RTHC from the ground up — establishing the practice in late 2023 and growing it into a multidisciplinary service for Berry Springs, Dundee Beach, Wagait Beach and the Acacia region. Drawing on 14 years of service in the Royal Australian Air Force and a Bachelor of Business, Nic brings a disciplined, operations-focused approach to healthcare management, overseeing the systems, infrastructure and day-to-day running of the practice.
